From Miss Norway to the Salvation Army !


Torill Helene is an active person of many interests. She was a promosing athlet winning a lot of contest in running. Her national 800 m record for 14 years old survived for 14 years.

In 1976 she was finalist in 'Miss Norway "- the beauty contest.
 
1983 she recorded her first album My Strangest Dream with mostly selfpenned material. In 1998 she and her brother Gøran Nordvik did an album of old traditional folk songs.  These have now been digitally remastered and released in April 2015 with Booklet incl. lyrics..
 

Later Torill Helene became politically active, and took seat in Skien’s  city council. Then there were Bible studies in the United States.
 
She became an engaged soldier in the Salvation Army. She stayed 18 months in Iceland working as host on the TV network. Back in Norway she lived up in Finnmark/Vadsö being Evangelist at Elim Pentecostal Church.


Today she lives in Hallingdal, not so far from Oslo. She will be doing some TV appearances in Norwegian TV-series (NRK) in 2016/2017.

Torill Helene has published numerous CD releases in Christian environment. On YouTube you can see an interview with Torill Helene including several songs.
