Jarl Goli

Jarl Goli (born 23 April 1957) is a Norwegian actor, singer, politician and television personality.

He enrolled at the Norwegian National Academy of Theatre in 1978, and started a career in acting. He was a stage actor at Den Nationale Scene before appearing on television for the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation. He quickly made his breakthrough with Eli Rygg in the children's show Portveien 2 in the mid-1980s.

His acting career continued with roles in Offshore in 1996, Hotel Cæsar in 2009 and Taxi in 2011. Filmography include Adjø solidaritet (1985) and Orion's Belt (1987). In 2000 he had a brief tenure as municipal director of culture in Ullensaker.  

Jarl Goli is married with 5 children.

For Talent in 1986 he recorded basic Norwegian Folk tales from Asbjørnsen & Moe’s collections, and some years later a Christmas album with Nick Borgen’s orchestra.
