Gro Anita Schønn (1950 - 2001)
 She was a real star of the 70’s. In hot pants and hi heel sneakers she went no 1 at VG Top 10 in the early 70’s; first with A simple song of freedom, and then again with Eviva Espana, before she teamed up with Inger Lise Rypdal and Stein Ingebrigtsen in the TREFF album serie, the most popular record serie of the 70’s. She starred in the Norwegian version of Rocky Horror Show and made concerts and live appearances in Norway and Sweden. In 1981 however she retired from the stage and withdraw herself to an anonymous existence. She died already in 2001 but her voice and music will live on. |
